# NeoTaste vs Humble

The clearest difference is update cadence: NeoTaste at weekly against Humble's monthly. NeoTaste also leads on ratings volume (67 vs 3). Humble's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for NeoTaste against 4.7 for Humble. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NeoTaste has 67 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NeoTaste ships an update weekly, Humble monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
