# Delivery Dodo vs Barn's

The clearest difference is rating: Barn's at 4.2 against Delivery Dodo's 2.5. Barn's also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (67 vs 2). Delivery Dodo's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 18%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Barn's holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barn's has 67 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Delivery Dodo's written reviews are positive against 18% of Barn's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Delivery Dodo ships an update every 2 months, Barn's fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
