# SonicBit vs MEGA Pass Password Manager

The clearest difference is update cadence: SonicBit at weekly against MEGA Pass Password Manager's monthly. MEGA Pass Password Manager's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 7) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SonicBit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and MEGA Pass Password Manager sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SonicBit holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MEGA Pass Password Manager has 43 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SonicBit's written reviews are positive against 75% of MEGA Pass Password Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SonicBit ships an update weekly, MEGA Pass Password Manager monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
