# Sena Outdoor vs Tech

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tech at monthly against Sena Outdoor's every 4 months. Tech also leads on ratings volume (87 vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.8 for Sena Outdoor against 1.6 for Tech. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tech has 87 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 14% of Sena Outdoor's written reviews are positive against 13% of Tech's.

Sena Outdoor ships an update every 4 months, Tech monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
