# TCLI Library vs Readict

The clearest difference is ads: TCLI Library at none against Readict's shown. TCLI Library also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Readict's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TCLI Library sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Readict sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TCLI Library holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readict has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of TCLI Library's written reviews are positive against 74% of Readict's.

TCLI Library ships an update every 3 weeks, Readict weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
