# iBattleTV vs battle(r)app

The clearest difference is monetization model: iBattleTV at free with in-app purchases against battle(r)app's subscription. iBattleTV also leads on ratings volume (152 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iBattleTV sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and battle(r)app sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $23.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for iBattleTV against 5.0 for battle(r)app. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iBattleTV has 152 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of iBattleTV's written reviews are positive against 92% of battle(r)app's.

iBattleTV ships an update every 4 months, battle(r)app every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
