# Pomodoro.me vs FocusCommit

Pomodoro.me and FocusCommit both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Pomodoro.me's written reviews are positive against 50% of FocusCommit's. FocusCommit's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro.me sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FocusCommit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Pomodoro.me against 4.1 for FocusCommit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusCommit has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Pomodoro.me's written reviews are positive against 50% of FocusCommit's.

Pomodoro.me ships an update every 2 months, FocusCommit every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
