# Geonav Home vs Elgin Smart

The clearest difference is rating: Elgin Smart at 4.7 against Geonav Home's 4.1. Elgin Smart also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 13). Geonav Home's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elgin Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 44 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Geonav Home's written reviews are positive against 18% of Elgin Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Geonav Home ships an update every 3 months, Elgin Smart every 12 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
