# FPCS vs CamDigiKey

The clearest difference is rating: CamDigiKey at 3.0 against FPCS's 2.0. CamDigiKey also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). FPCS's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CamDigiKey holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamDigiKey has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of FPCS's written reviews are positive against 0% of CamDigiKey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FPCS ships an update fortnightly, CamDigiKey every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
