# Preventa vs Rescate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Preventa at fortnightly against Rescate's every 2 months. Preventa also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Preventa ships an update fortnightly, Rescate every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
