# TrueSecure Key vs Vilo

The clearest difference is rating: TrueSecure Key at 4.4 against Vilo's 2.7. Vilo's advantage is review sentiment (21% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TrueSecure Key holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 30 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of TrueSecure Key's written reviews are positive against 21% of Vilo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrueSecure Key ships an update every 3 months, Vilo every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
