# PRO RGB vs Aurora Lights Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Aurora Lights Pro at 5.0 against PRO RGB's 1.9. PRO RGB's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aurora Lights Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRO RGB has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PRO RGB ships an update every 3 weeks, Aurora Lights Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
