# Stim Gaming vs Razer Cortex Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Razer Cortex Mobile at 4.6 against Stim Gaming's 3.0. Razer Cortex Mobile also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 2). Stim Gaming's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Razer Cortex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Razer Cortex Mobile has 3.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Stim Gaming's written reviews are positive against 35% of Razer Cortex Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stim Gaming ships an update every 3 weeks, Razer Cortex Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
