# BiB vs LibriVox!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LibriVox! at 100% against BiB's 55%. LibriVox! also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). BiB's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BiB sells 22 one-off in-app purchases and LibriVox! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BiB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LibriVox! has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of BiB's written reviews are positive against 100% of LibriVox!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BiB ships an update monthly, LibriVox! every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
