# Nightcam Camera vs ReeHeld

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ReeHeld at 55% against Nightcam Camera's 23%. ReeHeld also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1). Nightcam Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 448). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nightcam Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and ReeHeld sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReeHeld holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nightcam Camera has 2.6K ratings behind it against 448, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of Nightcam Camera's written reviews are positive against 55% of ReeHeld's.

Nightcam Camera ships an update every 3 weeks, ReeHeld every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
