# Good Decision vs Decision Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Decision Journal at every 3 weeks against Good Decision's every 2 months. Decision Journal also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Good Decision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Decision Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Good Decision ships an update every 2 months, Decision Journal every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
