# Reminders' vs Reminder Text

The clearest difference is rating: Reminder Text at 4.8 against Reminders''s 3.5. Reminder Text also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). Reminders''s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reminders' sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Reminder Text sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminder Text holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminder Text has 120 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Reminders''s written reviews are positive against 78% of Reminder Text's.

Reminders' ships an update every 5 months, Reminder Text every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
