# Reminders' vs Reminder Notes Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Reminder Notes Widget at 4.3 against Reminders''s 3.5. Reminder Notes Widget also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). Reminders''s advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 20%) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reminders' sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Reminder Notes Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reminder Notes Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminder Notes Widget has 37 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Reminders''s written reviews are positive against 20% of Reminder Notes Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reminders' ships an update every 5 months, Reminder Notes Widget every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
