# ProDex vs Tagmiibo

The clearest difference is ads: Tagmiibo at none against ProDex's shown. Tagmiibo also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). ProDex's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProDex sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Tagmiibo sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ProDex against 4.8 for Tagmiibo. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5K and 2.6K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of ProDex's written reviews are positive against 87% of Tagmiibo's.

ProDex ships an update every 4 days, Tagmiibo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
