# ProDex vs Counter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Counter at none against ProDex's 10. Counter also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). ProDex's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 4) and chart position (#209 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProDex sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Counter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Counter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProDex has 5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of ProDex's written reviews are positive against 100% of Counter's.
