# ProDex vs Pocket Gallery App

The clearest difference is ads: Pocket Gallery App at none against ProDex's shown. ProDex's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (5K vs 27). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProDex sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pocket Gallery App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ProDex against 4.7 for Pocket Gallery App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProDex has 5K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of ProDex's written reviews are positive against 85% of Pocket Gallery App's.

ProDex ships an update every 4 days, Pocket Gallery App monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
