# ProDex vs Pocket Catalog

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProDex at every 4 days against Pocket Catalog's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProDex sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pocket Catalog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProDex ships an update every 4 days, Pocket Catalog every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
