# ProDex vs 字海：汉语词典

The clearest difference is ads: 字海：汉语词典 at none against ProDex's shown. 字海：汉语词典 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ProDex's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProDex sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 字海：汉语词典 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

字海：汉语词典 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProDex has 5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
