# Healy vs GenePlanet

The clearest difference is rating: GenePlanet at 5.0 against Healy's 2.7. GenePlanet also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months). Healy's advantage is ratings volume (282 vs 1) and review sentiment (18% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GenePlanet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Healy has 282 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Healy's written reviews are positive against 0% of GenePlanet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Healy ships an update every 12 months, GenePlanet monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
