# UserTesting vs PlaytestCloud

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlaytestCloud at 56% against UserTesting's 27%. PlaytestCloud also leads on rating (3.3 vs 2.9) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). UserTesting's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 340). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PlaytestCloud holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UserTesting has 2.6K ratings behind it against 340, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of UserTesting's written reviews are positive against 56% of PlaytestCloud's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
