# Hik vs LibreNMS Mobile

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LibreNMS Mobile at none against Hik's 9. LibreNMS Mobile also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hik's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hik sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. LibreNMS Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

LibreNMS Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hik has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Hik's written reviews are positive against 100% of LibreNMS Mobile's.

Hik ships an update fortnightly, LibreNMS Mobile every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
