# AccuLynx Field vs RoofLink

The clearest difference is update cadence: AccuLynx Field at every 8 days against RoofLink's monthly. AccuLynx Field also leads on ratings volume (596 vs 45). RoofLink's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RoofLink holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AccuLynx Field has 596 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of AccuLynx Field's written reviews are positive against 56% of RoofLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AccuLynx Field ships an update every 8 days, RoofLink monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
