# Power VPN vs Burfy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Burfy at 71% against Power VPN's 40%. Burfy also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Power VPN's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 20). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Burfy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Burfy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power VPN has 1.2K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Power VPN's written reviews are positive against 71% of Burfy's.

Power VPN ships an update monthly, Burfy every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
