# Power VPN vs Iron

The clearest difference is update cadence: Iron at every 5 days against Power VPN's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Iron sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
