# HeliDirect vs Top Fun RC

The clearest difference is rating: HeliDirect at 4.7 against Top Fun RC's 3.8. HeliDirect also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (676 vs 6). Top Fun RC's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 39%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HeliDirect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeliDirect has 676 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of HeliDirect's written reviews are positive against 75% of Top Fun RC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HeliDirect ships an update every 2 months, Top Fun RC every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
