# Elf VPN vs Super VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Super VPN at 4.4 against Elf VPN's 2.4. Super VPN also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and ratings volume (51 vs 8). Elf VPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elf VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Super VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super VPN has 51 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Elf VPN's written reviews are positive against 75% of Super VPN's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
