# TimeCrunch vs Assignment Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: TimeCrunch at every 8 days against Assignment Planner's every 5 weeks. TimeCrunch also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 57%). Assignment Planner's advantage is ratings volume (138 vs 27). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCrunch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Assignment Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for TimeCrunch against 4.6 for Assignment Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assignment Planner has 138 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of TimeCrunch's written reviews are positive against 57% of Assignment Planner's.

TimeCrunch ships an update every 8 days, Assignment Planner every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
