# TimeCrunch vs Homework Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Homework Tracker at 223 against TimeCrunch's 27. TimeCrunch's advantage is iOS requirement (15 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCrunch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Homework Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for TimeCrunch against 4.7 for Homework Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Tracker has 223 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 70% and 70% positive.

TimeCrunch ships an update every 10 days, Homework Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
