# AusIMM vs Preserve

The clearest difference is update cadence: Preserve at every 2 months against AusIMM's every 7 months. Preserve also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AusIMM ships an update every 7 months, Preserve every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
