# SSYS vs CartScout

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SSYS at none against CartScout's 5. SSYS also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). CartScout's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CartScout sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. SSYS asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SSYS against 5.0 for CartScout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSYS has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SSYS ships an update every 3 weeks, CartScout daily. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
