# SSYS vs Sugarlips

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SSYS at 1.6K against Sugarlips's 1. SSYS also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SSYS against 5.0 for Sugarlips. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSYS has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SSYS ships an update every 3 weeks, Sugarlips every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
