# GIC Collect vs KobCard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KobCard at 83% against GIC Collect's 30%. KobCard also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). GIC Collect's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GIC Collect sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. KobCard asks for nothing beyond the download.

GIC Collect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 162 and 377 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of GIC Collect's written reviews are positive against 83% of KobCard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
