# FiiO Control vs Mobapad

The clearest difference is rating: FiiO Control at 5.0 against Mobapad's 2.5. Mobapad's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FiiO Control holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobapad has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 13% and 13% positive.

FiiO Control ships an update fortnightly, Mobapad every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
