# Fall Away vs Off the Rails 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Fall Away at 5.0 against Off the Rails 3D's 4.5. Fall Away also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 months). Off the Rails 3D's advantage is ratings volume (42K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fall Away sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Off the Rails 3D sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fall Away holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Off the Rails 3D has 42K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fall Away ships an update every 11 days, Off the Rails 3D every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
