# Masterlist vs Sessions

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Masterlist at 11 against Sessions's 1. Masterlist also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Masterlist sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Sessions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Masterlist against 5.0 for Sessions. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masterlist has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
