# I vs Smart Science

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: I at none against Smart Science's 1. I also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Smart Science's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Science sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. I asks for nothing beyond the download.

I ships an update every 10 months, Smart Science monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
