# NordPass vs SecureSafe

The clearest difference is rating: NordPass at 4.7 against SecureSafe's 1.0. NordPass also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 1). SecureSafe's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NordPass sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. SecureSafe asks for nothing beyond the download.

NordPass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NordPass has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NordPass ships an update monthly, SecureSafe every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
