# Empower Driver vs ZIPR DRIVER

The clearest difference is rating: Empower Driver at 4.6 against ZIPR DRIVER's 1.0. Empower Driver also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and chart position (#125 vs unranked). ZIPR DRIVER's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Empower Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Empower Driver has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Empower Driver ships an update fortnightly, ZIPR DRIVER every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
