# DanceBody LIVE vs Levels

The clearest difference is rating: DanceBody LIVE at 4.7 against Levels's 4.0. DanceBody LIVE also leads on ratings volume (223 vs 4). Levels's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DanceBody LIVE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month and Levels sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DanceBody LIVE holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DanceBody LIVE has 223 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of DanceBody LIVE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Levels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DanceBody LIVE ships an update every 6 weeks, Levels every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
