# OD Cam vs Rokid

The clearest difference is rating: Rokid at 2.1 against OD Cam's 1.8. Rokid also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). OD Cam's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rokid holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OD Cam has 57 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of OD Cam's written reviews are positive against 8% of Rokid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OD Cam ships an update every 3 months, Rokid every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
