# LVVWD vs NoteSurf

The clearest difference is rating: NoteSurf at 5.0 against LVVWD's 2.3. NoteSurf also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). LVVWD's advantage is ratings volume (75 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NoteSurf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LVVWD has 75 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LVVWD ships an update every 3 weeks, NoteSurf every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
