# MP4 Maker vs 100ZG

The clearest difference is ads: MP4 Maker at none against 100ZG's shown. MP4 Maker also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). 100ZG's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP4 Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 100ZG sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

100ZG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MP4 Maker has 2.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of MP4 Maker's written reviews are positive against 15% of 100ZG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MP4 Maker ships an update weekly, 100ZG every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
