# MP4 Maker vs FightCaller

MP4 Maker and FightCaller both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FightCaller's written reviews are positive against 26% of MP4 Maker's. FightCaller also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). MP4 Maker's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 13). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP4 Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FightCaller sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MP4 Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MP4 Maker has 2.4K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of MP4 Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of FightCaller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MP4 Maker ships an update weekly, FightCaller fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
