# Metronome Beats Pro vs MyTabla

The clearest difference is ads: MyTabla at none against Metronome Beats Pro's shown. MyTabla also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Metronome Beats Pro's advantage is ratings volume (5.6K vs 1) and review sentiment (83% vs 62%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metronome Beats Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MyTabla sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyTabla holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metronome Beats Pro has 5.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Metronome Beats Pro's written reviews are positive against 62% of MyTabla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Metronome Beats Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, MyTabla fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
