# VPN 7 vs Super VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Super VPN at 4.4 against VPN 7's 3.9. VPN 7's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN 7 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per month and Super VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VPN 7's written reviews are positive against 75% of Super VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN 7 ships an update every 6 weeks, Super VPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
